Vancouver Blogger Sale

 {Jen was the best booth buddy}

My laptop died a cruel death so I ended up having to get a new one. Thanks for your patience this past week while I was computer-less! I still have to get this new one up and running (it's going to take me a few months to get used to this new keyboard)!

In the meantime I just wanted to finally update you on the Blogger clothing sale that took place on the 17th. Alicia and Cee did an amazing job getting everything organized and it was such a huge success. Thanks to everyone that stopped by! Also a huge thanks to Jen because I stole all of these pictures from her! Looking forward to the next one!

Computer vs. Charger

My laptop and laptop charger got in a fight yesterday. The charger won.

Since it's now refusing to do it's one job of charging my laptop I have no computer.

I'm hoping to get the situation fixed Friday but until then I won't have any outfit photos to post. Let's just all pretend that I posted an outfit today... And let's pretend it was good. Really good

To The Office

{Wearing: Zara Coat, TNA T-Shirt, Gap Pants, Zara Pumps, Ruche Necklace, Matt & Nat Bag}

Most of the time at work I am not dressed office appropriate. That is because I don't work an office, I work in a restaurant so I am dressed restaurant appropriate. That means I am slip proof, burn proof, and comfortable all while trying to look professional. The few times a year (meetings at the head office or when I teach a management class) I do have to put together some clothing appropriate for the office I am reminded how nothing I own seems right for the job.

I didn't wear this outfit to the office but It's far closer to office ready than 90% of my wardrobe and considering I start teaching a class tomorrow I really need to start brain storming some outfits. In the past I would just go shopping for professional clothing for those three days of teaching but I refuse to this time. I will find something office appropriate in my closet if it means I have to sew it myself! (for the record, the only thing I can sew on anything is a button... a maxi dress with a button is office appropriate right?)
