Frost Bite

{Wearing: Zara Blouse, American Apparel Skirt (bought during the AA Team Buy), Zara Boots, Banana Republic Necklace, Coach Bag}

It turns out my love for maxi skirts is only going to work this fall/winter if I wear snow pants underneath them. After these photos I bundled up and we went for a walk and the freezing wind froze me to the bone. I thought wearing tights under the skirt would be enough but boy was I wrong. I've seen fleece lined tights at BeautyMark and at the Gap they have tights that claim to create warmth while you're wearing them so I might have to pick up a couple of those to prevent frost bite. Or I could just go with my snow pants idea. Layering is in style right?

  20. I'm still debating on that skirt in that colour or in the cobalt blue. I love the cobalt so much but I'm worried it's not a very good fall colour.

  26. Double/triple layer your tights, girl! That's what I've been doing so far this winter and I don't know what I hadn't before. I find that it's actually warmer than wearing pants when you have the right material combo going on. Warmth aside, I love the colours in this look - jewel tones have been at the top of my love list this fall and you wear them beautifully. Hoping to see more of that maxi skirt this winter!
