Lazy Days

Outfit Details:
Top: UO
Shorts and Bag: H&M
Sandals: Aldo
Earrings: RW&Co

In the middle of transitioning my closet from winter to summer clothes, I kind of got super lazy and ended up with a massive pile of clothes in the middle of my floor. This top was one of the few that was still hanging up in my closet and these shorts were a recent purchase from H&M so they hadn't fallen victim to the pile yet.

That's how it works right? Instead of doing laundry or organizing you just buy new stuff? Is it bad that I'd rather blow my budget then actually put my clothes away right now? Don't answer that.

I think these shorts will be a perfect addition to my wardrobe this summer. Can you say mixing patterns? I guess that means I'll have to sort through the pile of clothes and find a patterned top. Shucks. (Or I'll just go buy one. Shhhh, don't tell)

  1. You're a girl after my own heart- I often simply buy new things to avoid doing laundry :) Of course, that is now why I have had to freeze my credit card in a block of ice. It's not bad that you would rather shop than put your clothes away; just don't let yourself go as crazy as I have :)

  2. love love love the shorts - they're perfect with your shoes. And I totally do that with underwear/jeans - instead of washing them I'll convince myself I don't have enough.

  3. I totally buy new stuff when I don't really need it to avoid organizing, you're not alone! Love those H&M shorts... I feel like I need to pick up some cute shorts this summer... all of mine suddenly seem way too short for my liking.

  5. I really like that shirt and could totally wear it to work tucked into a pencil skirt. Beautiful color too!

  6. Ooo, I love these pieces together! I want a bright blue tank now, what a pretty versatile color. And I always have a massive pile of clothes on the middle of the floor but now I'm just going to tell myself I'm transitioning between seasons...year round.

  7. Oooh love those shorts, they look great on ya! I'm the same way with purchasing rather than just organizing what I have. But, my closet will be switched over tonight so that I don't keep purchasing because "I have nothing to wear".

  8. If I could afford to buy new clothes instead of washing mine, I'd do it. But don't tell anyone I said that.

I love those shorts, they're SO super cute and that ruffled top is fantastic!

  11. I absolutely love your outfit, so cute! I actually plan my wardrobe veeeery carefully, so I am the opposite of you, but sometimes I feel it takes some of the fun out of it. So I wouldn't worry too much, if I were you!
