  2. I started getting more and more tense looking at these photos thinking "how is she not getting her clothes dirty??" lol

Girl, I'm with you! I'm online shopping right now too :) hehe

  3. Haha, I asked my husband the same question earlier. I'm not a Football fan either..but I do like the commercials and half time :)

You look super cute as usual!

  4. Love these beautiful pictures! I am multitasking and watching the Superbowl commercials, checking blogs and snacking;)

  5. I love these photos- I know that stairwell is old and dingy, but it looks so so good against the crispness of your outfit! I also laughed out loud (yes, not just lol) at the "does he know who he's dating?" line- I swear, the same thing has happened to me! Only sub in hockey for football. :) Silly boys.
    Looking gorgeous Melissa! xx

  6. I love how this outfit seems a little menswear inspired, yet you look pretty and girly at the same time!

And your posts always make me laugh! I would rather be a cliche than watch Football... blergh.

  7. Haha...I ignored the game altogether! So don't worry, I'm like you: I too have SATC in my DVD player right now ;)

  8. Love your outfit, especially the shoes.

I hate football. I went shopping instead.

  9. I started watching the game, but then RENT was on. Sorry Football!

  10. You're not alone, sistah! I watched Bride Wars as the rest of the world watched the Superbowl . . . had it been the Grey Cup, I would have been all over it!

  11. I'm a cliche too. I spent the day shopping, the evening cleaning, and am now blog reading.

  12. Today my son declared "Let's watch the Super Bowl, Mommy!" (he's 5). About 10 minutes into it he said, "Can I watch Dora? This is boring." Whew! I hope he stays like this forever!

  13. haha! "Does he know who he is dating?" I most def did not watch the game, didn't care. I watched 60 minutes and played online. I saw bits and pieces I guess, but I just don't care about the NFL.

  14. Hahaha your write-up made me chuckle--that was pretty much the gist of my reaction when the boy asked me when I'm going to watch UFC with him!

This outfit looks so great on you. Classic, clean and very fresh feel.

  15. Your convo with the boyfriend totally sounds like one I'd have with mine. I often find myself asking him "Do you even know me!?" :)

    Cute hair today girlie...

  16. Aww, I'm so glad my boyfriend doesn't watch football.

  17. Haha don't worry, I was shopping (followed by napping) during the game. I don't think my boyfriend even watched it actually-he was keeping up with the score on his phone but...he had just gotten a new video game (which was great for me, because it meant I could nap without random bursts of "YES!" and "How could you miss that?!"

Outfit looks great! I love the pants especially.

  18. Buwahaha I don't like the super bowl either. Lucky for me though, neither does my boyfriend.

PS: I love your hair! <3

  19. I'm a football fan! Once you start, I swear you can't stop. Of course, my father started me out young with watching every Sunday.
You look fabulously preppy in these pictures.

  21. Let's get one thing straight...I was watching the commercials, not the game.

And only one bottle of wine? That's it? I need more than that to actually watch an entire game.

I love this outfit on you. You look so effortlessly chic.

  22. I hate watching football! Your girly version of Superbowl Sunday sounds much better :)
Love this look, it's very JCrew...and I LOVE JCrew xoxo

  23. If it makes you feel any better. I'm a cliche too. I watched Bridget Jones' Diary instead of spending any time near any sport yesterday.

And it was time well spent.

    You look cute, as always!

  27. For some really odd reason I love watching the Super Bowl. Maybe I am half a man?! I just use it as an excuse to throw a party and make cupcakes with Team Colour icing! Hahaha!

    Love the outfit!

  28. Your hair looks so cute like that! Did you twist it or braid it?
