I received a sample of Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula's Skin Therapy Oil about a month ago to review.
I am very particular with product reviews because I would only ever post honest comments and I would hate to have to bash a product on my blog. Luckily I was very happy with this oil and only have good things to say about it.
I have dry/sensitive skin which is the worst when it comes to trying to moisturize. Applying lotion on my legs right after shaving always results in little red bumps (you know what I'm talking about ladies), and other lotions cause my skin to react badly. As a result I have wasted a lot of money on lotions and I have 5 or 6 unused bottles in my bathroom.
I applied this oil to my legs and arms nightly and I have been really pleased with the results! This oil is also supposed to be great for scars, stretch marks, uneven skin tone or wrinkles... not that I have any wrinkles to test it out on or anything...(I'm turning 29 in a few weeks... leave me alone).
My biggest concerns before trying it were that it would be greasy on my skin and that my skin wouldn't react well to it. So far my skin has been alright, and it absorbs really quickly! It also smells amazing which is an added bonus.
It's a good price ($9.00 at Walmart I believe) so trying it won't break the bank. Hopefully if you do try it you'll like it as much as I have!

Wedding Attire
Wearing: BCBG Dress, Banana Republic Necklace and Pumps, Plum Clutch
Am I the only one who panics a bit when picking a dress out to wear to a wedding? I probably over think it but I always worry about being over dressed (don't want to look like you're competing with the bride) or under dressed (a sign of disrespect), you don't want to wear the same colour as the bridal party (accidental brides mail wannabe) and you obviously can't wear white.
Luckily my amazing friend Jessica found this dress for me and while I generally shy away from yellow out of habit (someone told me once that blondes shouldn't wear yellow) as soon as I put this dress on I fell in love. After all, it has pockets.
I didn't wear this necklace during the ceremony to keep it simple, but added some glitz for the reception.
Congratulations again Bernelle and Wilson! Such a lovely wedding!

I like those odds
Wearing: Zara Top, UO Shorts, F21 Shoes and Necklace
I had such a lovely weekend. It involved way too much food (shh, don't tell my trainer at the gym) and good friends. I have pictures to share from the wedding I attended as well as some from the next morning before brunch. There is nothing better then day 2 hair and slightly hungover eyes so I'm sure you'll love those pictures ;).
Also, I won .28 cents at the casino. I had to lose $4.72 in order to win my .28 cents but it was well worth it. I can't wait to buy my 5 - 5 cent candies and STILL have 3 cents left over. I wonder if I went to the casino with $100 if I'd be lucky enough to walk away with $17? I like those odds. That's sooo many 5 cent candies. (I think someone should ban me from the casino).
