leather & vintage

I am almost done organizing my closet. I think it's just taking so long because I still don't know what I want my wardrobe to look like this fall/winter. In order to keep myself from shopping too much I try to keep my wardrobe choices pretty focused so I can mix and match most of my clothing. I am finding myself drawn to darker colors right now and I've either been wanting to mix edgier* pieces with more feminine ones or I've been leaning towards my go-to look of jeans and blazers. Once I have everything organized we will see what I decide on.

*I use the word edgy really loosely. I think black is edgy... or a tiny bit of leather detailing. I'm obviously a badass.

seasonal events

I hope everyone had an amazing weekend. Mine was a busy mix of fun and work which has left me feeling a tad bit exhausted. I have yet to participate in any of the cliche 'fall' activities so I should better get on that. Facebook and Instagram are just constant reminders of everything I am not doing in my life. I need to go to a pumpkin patch, carve a pumpkin while drinking a pumpkin spice latte and eating some pumpkin pie. Have I missed anything?

i'd love to stay...

{Wearing: Zara Coat, Club Monaco Blouse, Lulu*s Skirt, Aldo Pumps & Marc by Marc Jacobs Bag}

I'd love to stay and chat but after months (and I am talking months) of procrastinating organizing my closet, I finally feel motivated enough to do it. My clothes have been piled on a table for far too long and digging through that pile while getting dressed is one of the most infuriating ways to start my day. So I am going to go tackle that before my motivation dies. Wish me luck!

*update* My motivation lasted long enough to hang up 20 pieces. Then I played dress up and 10 of them ended up back on the pile. Oh well... baby steps.
