Transition to Spring

These transition months between seasons are always so tough. I'm tired of my winter wardrobe but I'm not ready to fully transition to my spring wardrobe. Well, Mother Nature isn't ready to let me transition into my spring wardrobe. It may or may not have been pouring rain while we were taking these photos and I may or may not have refused to use my umbrella and I may or may not have ended up drenched.

I don't know what I want my style to be this spring. I'm sure I'll have a better idea once I swap my sweaters for my spring and summer wardrobe but one thing I know is that I need practical pieces. If they can't be drooled on and I can't move around easily then they aren't for me. I have also given up on heels for the most part and that is saying a lot. If you know me than you know I used to wear heels 90% of the time.

I've been scrolling through Pinterest for inspiration and I've been drawn to very minimal and effortless looks. I'm hoping I can recreate some of those looks using pieces I already have. Until then, it's skinny jeans and blouses on repeat.
