days like yesterday

I know that us style bloggers take a lot of photos of ourselves and as a result probably come across  that we love being behind the camera and adore photos of ourselves. Most days I am completely fine with having my photo taken but I'm rarely excited for it. And some days were like yesterday, where I felt unphotogenic and the thought of having my photo taken made me cranky.

Luckily I was having brunch for my cousin (and very close friend) Alicia(fashionista)'s birthday at Catch 22 so there was no time for crankiness. My pumpkin french toast was life changing and I was surrounded by amazing people. I think we need a few more Alicia birthdays a year because they are always a blast.

  3. Oh my gosh, there must have been something in the air yesterday.... I wanted to murder my hair and closet + I looked hideous in every single one of my photos. Oh no, the worst right?! Well, we'll for sure have to commiserate on Thursday!! Wonderful to hear you had a great time though and your outfit is so chic and lovely!!!

  4. I totally get you - some days I'm just not feeling like being photographed! Fortunately, you look amazing, and had no reason to feel un-photogenic. Actually, you always look put together and stylish! So there!

Loving those pumps Melissa - I wish Zara still made them! And that Gap blouse looks so comfortable! Gorgeous, as always!

  5. Judging from your post and others' comments, I'm not the only one who has those days!

  6. I have days like that too, but sometimes, if an outfit just works, it's worth sucking it up and snapping a few shots :)
