once you're 30

{Wearing: Zara Coat, Asos Blouse, Club Monaco Skirt, Aldo Pumps & Marc by Marc Jacobs Bag}

I wish I had more to talk about but I am just far too boring right now. I have admittedly gone through many self reflective phases over my blogging years (it's just my style) but I am just in a constant state of re-evaluating everything right now. I just can't shake it! It's helped me make some really positive changes over the last month but it's also resulted in a couple really hard decisions. I keep telling myself everything happens for a reason and even the difficult moments will be worth it in the long run. I just feel so bad that I don't have much to say other than "I worked today" or "I had theater rehearsal" or "I didn't embarrass myself in yoga" or "look, I'm wearing a blouse and skirt". I'm honestly that boring. Is this what happens when you turn 30? Thanks 31 year olds, you could have warned me.

  1. You are far too young to be 30! You look amazing, and don't worry. Sometimes I feel like my life is too boring to blog about too. I think we all go through it! xo

  2. Oh, I feel you. Like how on Friday I excitedly want to tweet "In my jammies watching Say Yes to the Dress! I love Fridays!" - until I realize that this is what I do every single Friday and no one needs to hear about it. And it makes me both sad AND glad that I remain excited about those Friday nights. Though don't underestimate yourself... it's the simple and seemingly mundane parts of people's lives that often make them more interesting than what they think. All that said, you look super pretty here! Love this whole outfit! xo.

  4. first off you don't look 30 at all and I'm not just saying that.
    But I am 26 and I go through these phases alllllll the time so don't worry it's not just because of your age :)

  6. As your elder (I'm 31), I can say that its normal to go through those phases. I do all the time. I think of it as gut checking. I'm constantly thinking, "Do I really want to be doing this" and often think about going for it and opening my own store/boutique and make a huge life change. I'm sure life is about feeling like that, otherwise things would get super boring.

  8. I have been going through similar re-evaluating phases lately. I blame winter and the fact that I need sunshine, baseball, and patio drinks. :)
    Sounds to me like you need to plan a trip!

  10. Ha ha ha, well at the ripe ole' age of 32, I can say that I'm sure it's just a phase you're going through. :) I find that as I age, I get more confident, happy with my life and relaxed. That being said, I definitely have the same types of moments that you are having. I've actually done it with my blog often. . .wonder if all the hard work is worth it, wonder if people actually even care, wonder if it will ever be successful, wonder if I should just close up shop. I think it's totally normal to go through phases like that, but I always just try to remain positive. It's amazing what a little positive thinking can do for a girl. :)

  11. I don't think it's related to age as I'm 28 and I'm in the same boat.

  14. I agree with Lisa; definitely doesn't have to do with age - maybe it's just that time of year. Once the sun starts shining and it warms up I bet you'll be feeling completely different!
    On another note, you look fantastic! I love your skirt.

  18. I think you are still very interesting! Perhaps it is because my last post consisted of "work. work. travel. eat. work." ..and so or perhaps it's because I just like the way you roll. Hope all your decisions make life all the better for you and still end in you coming to montreal this summer! In any case you are just my kind of girl. and besides, that coat is to die for so right there - win!
