My Weekend

{Wearing: Zara Blouse, Urban Outfitters Skirt, BeautyMark Pumps, Zara Bag, Fossil Watch, MonikaLove Bracelet (c/o)}

Friday night I had my hair appointment and it was dyed to this lovely shade of 'bronde'. I knew I couldn't go straight to blonde and as far as transition hair colours go this isn't awful. I'm really not used to it so I'm in the "Oh my gosh I haaaaate it" phase that I always go through post-hair dye. Aside from my hair identity crisis the rest of my weekend was quite enjoyable. Saturday night Alicia and I went for some drinks and then to celebrate a friends birthday we went somewhere I haven't been in a looong time... a club. It turns out I have no place up in da club anymore. I just dance and judge everyone around me... yes, I've become that person. The night ended with a game of boggle and a huge slice of red velvet cake at 2am. Sunday was spent at my Dad's where I swam and enjoyed the sun. My favourite part of the weekend was the cake... and that makes me sad. And a little scared.

  1. lovin' the bronde!
    that's exactly how I sound at the club, I just get on the dance floor to specifically judge those around me. good times...

  2. I think your hair looks great! And I have to admit I haven't been a "going out" person for many years. Whenever I end up at a club, I'm just like "is anyone having fun?" It's so loud and then there are all these obnoxious people everywhere. Glad I'm not the only one!

  6. I actually really like the bronde. You're lucky you can pull off blonde, brunette, and all the shades in between! And I know what you mean about clubbing... I feel wayyyyy too old all the time when I go.

  7. I love THAT person, they always make the best sarcastic remarks. ;) And guess what, the cake is ALWAYS the best part of any weekend. ;) Good transition hair.

  9. Sounds like you had a nice weekend! Dramatic hair changes always take some getting used to. I've never dyed my hair, but I imagine going from one hair colour to another is as dramatic as it gets.

  10. I think the 'bronde' is very pretty. I always freak out after I get my hair dyed too; it definitely takes some getting used to.

  11. You are so funny! I have no place up in da club either...I don't think I ever did! Maybe it's sad, but I'd prefer to be curled up on the couch at home with a good movie and a glass of pinot rather than at a club.

  14. I like the new hair colour! I just recently went back to my natural colour (the opposite switch - blonde to brunette) and it took some getting used to but now my hair is so much healthier and I love it!

  15. Haha, that has always been me in da club - judgey and would probably rather be eating cake ;)
    I loved your hair brunette but you were a gorgeous blonde, this transition colour is lovely too! You're pretty enough to pull off any hair colour, seriously.

  16. How is that you always end up taking your favourite blog friends for granted? I am sorry I have not been great on the commenting, although I have been trying to send my love/stalk via twitter so I hope you will forgive me. Now that this little preface is gone and done...

    I love your hair! The bronde is really a great transition and the inbetween is something you don't get to enjoy often so, Hurrah! As for the club, I try not to but I totally do get judge-y too. I just want to go out dancing and have lots of fun but I cannot handle people throwing bows so instead I judge them based on the fact I can see their underwear... I think that's as good a basis as any. We should go together sometime, I don't know if anyone around us would like it but I sure think we could crack each other up!
