As much as I love a good lazy day maxi skirt, my go to for every day has always been skinny jeans, a blouse and a coat (or when it's not winter... my lovely blazers). It's just such a simple way to look put together. Lately I have been gravitating towards mixing rich colors, like this wine blouse and blue coat, but keeping the accessories simple. I have honestly worn a version of this outfit every day for almost a week so just be happy I don't post daily outfits or you'd be ready to give me a lecture on variety. Although yesterday I did throw a brooch on this coat to try to distract people from the fact that I'd worn it so much. Don't focus on the coat... focus on the shiny object I pinned to the coat! I think it worked.

  1. Lovvvvvvve those pumps! They are so classic & perfect! Why can't their be a Zara on the east coast?? You look darling, this is a great 'go-to look' - super polished & pretty!

  2. What a great style! Simple and elegant!
    Love that coat so much!:D

I think this trick usually does work! Nobody notices I have a boring black coat on, it seems, but they do notice and compliment whatever brooch is pinned to it.

  4. Loving this season's skinny jeans and blouse. They go so well together.

The coat is also beautiful. I like its bright color.

  5. Love love love the bright blue coat-I can see why you are wearing it so often! Definitely adds a fun punch to any outfit...and your burgendy blouse and straight leg jeans are just perfect too. Of course, I am also drooling over those Zara pumps, darn my size 5 feet sometimes! You look gorgeous as always!

  9. If I owned that jacket I think I'd wear it everyday too. And you're right, skinnies + blouse + jacket is usually my go-to as well. it's just so simple and comfortable!

  10. Gorgeous color combo! And I too think those pumps are fab! I wish my daily uniform was this chic!
