Bye bye blonde

Ta-da! I'm no longer blonde!

I have been thinking about going darker for a while but I chickened out before every single hair appointment. This time I decided it was now or never and went for it (don't you love how I made myself sound super spontaneous when it took 30 minutes of freaking out in the hair dressers chair before I'd even let her dye it hahaha).

So far the reactions have been mixed. Most people have been super sweet and kind. Some people (my Mom) don't like change and aren't a huge fan of the new look. And others (my Dad) didn't notice. Pfft, men!

    Wow your hair looks great, I like both and you can definitely pull of either hair color. That's funny you chickened out before every appt. I'm sure you're glad you did it now.Your outfit is so chic too, I love that skirt.

    I actually LOVE it!!! You look gorgeous! And darker is always fun for the colder weather. Last fall I did a darker demi-permanent around xmas and I think I'll be doing it again :)

    I always found i tend to go darker in the fall, and lighter in the spring.. and I also love that blue on you! I havent visited your blog in a long time, so Im going to catch up now.. sorry if I comment on back dated posts - i just havent seen them!

    Aw, I think your hair looks really cute! And life is short, so experimenting is never a bad thing :) And if you don't like the change- since you're the only one who really counts- you can always dye it back!

    I like the new color change! Though I do wish you'd gone a couple shades darker. :) Maybe next time? ;)

    I tend to meticulously research any sort of change to my hair. I always bring pictures and everything into the hairdresser. :) They probably hate me because I'm so anal about my hair!

    I think it looks great! Maybe it's a typical thing for mom's to dislike it when you dye your blonde hair darker? I have been dying my hair for almost 4 years now (I am a super blonde "in real") and my mom still tells me all the time that I should ditch the brown hair and go back to my natural color. Every time my roots show up, I pretty much look bald because my own hair color is so much lighter.

    Well, anyway, I don't know where I am going with this :-) As said, the darker color looks good on you and you can always change it back ;-)

    I think it looks lovely! I always like when people go a bit darker for the fall/winter...and then it's even more fun to go back to blonde in the Spring!

    i love this colour on you, it makes your eyes pop :) - but then again - i liked you as a blonde as well. I am blonde at the moment but thinking to go back to dark hair maybe next month or so. I used to have almost black hair. i understand how you felt before you decided to go for it - i feel the same way now: kinda want to go back to dark but not too sure at the same time ;-)
