Wearing: Vintage Dress, Banana Republic Pumps (not pictured)
Having my clothes spread between my place and Mike's place finally caught up to me! I was convinced my nude heels were at Mike's so when I was packing my stuff up for the weekend I didn't worry about packing shoes for the gala I was attending. Huge mistake on my part. They weren't at Mike's, they were sitting in a bag on my couch at my place (aren't you imagining how organized my place is now?).
So I had a moment of girly panic where I was trying to figure out if I should just buy new shoes or try to get mine from home. Long story short - thanks to my sister my shoes met me at the gala but they weren't photographed.
I always love attending the Ronald McDonald House Charity Galas. The stories are so motivational and seeing everyone work together to help out an amazing charity is always so special. This year had a wizard of oz theme and I can't wait to show you the photos.
How was your weekend?

That dress is stunning!
ReplyDeleteI know exactly what you mean-I just moved in with my boyfriend but before that I was hauling clothes back and forth every weekend, and I always brought extra in case we ended up going out and I needed something dressy. It was so confusing! I'm definitely happy to have everything in one place again for a change.
Galas and dinners are always so fantastic for being randomly inspired! I LOVE this dress so much I wouldn't even know where to start.
ReplyDeleteNude shoes or not your looks lovely!

WHOA, there is nothing better than a champagne blonde wearing a classic champagne cocktail dress. That sounded creepy but I totally mean it.

ReplyDeleteThat dress is amazing! What a brilliant vintage find- is it from one of the stores in Vancouver? I'm dying to know. Of course, it fits you so perfectly, it was clearly meant to be yours. But I'm allowed to be a little envious, anyway... right?

ReplyDeleteFirst off, I'm gonna follow the crowd with this one and agree that the dress is amazing.
ReplyDeleteSecondly, I'm confused -- I thought you and the boy lived together? Maybe I'm wrong? Or maybe you moved out?
I really like the detailing of your dress! I'm a recent follower of your blog. I really love how fresh and clean your blog layout is. keep up the great work!
