My LA Best Friend

Outfit Details:
Dress: Plum
Sandals: Payless
Ring: RW&Co
Earrings: ShopRuche

I'm back from LA! I shopped Rodeo Drive*, became friends with a celebrity** and ate fresh mangos on the beach.

I wore this Plum dress while we shopped around and it was perfect for the LA weather. How adorable is the cut out in the back? I had to make sure I threw some sunblock on my back so I didn't get a weird triangle back tan though.

I really had such an amazing four days with these ladies. They've been friends with the bride since elementary and high school and before this trip I had only met them once! Traveling with a group of girls you don't know very well can be a recipe for disaster but I couldn't have asked for a better weekend. They were so welcoming and I had the best time. I can't tell you the last time I laughed as hard as I did this weekend!

* "Shopped Rodeo Drive"- Translation - stared into Prada drooling.

** "Became friends with a celebrity" - Translation - Nick Simmons cut in front of me in line at Starbucks and I stood next to him waiting for my drink. I'm pretty sure when he said "oh, were you in line?" he was really saying "you're my new best friend". and when I replied "it's okay, go ahead" I was really saying "awesome, any chance you are friends with Justin Timberlake?"

  13. Of course Nick Simmons meant to say that you were his new best friend- although if it had been Justin Timberlake saying that, it would have been even better :) Your dress is adorable. I'm completely swooning over the cutout in the back!
