Cliche Weather Talk

Yes it's cliche to talk about weather on a fashion blog but what else can you talk about when all last week felt like August instead of mid September?

I just jinxed it didn't I?

*update* I just looked outside and it's official... I jinxed it. I guess we will have to stick to the cliche "I love fall fashion" talk instead. Layer up ladies! It's a chilly one today!

Layers

Layering can sometimes create too much bulk and result in a michelin man inspired look. I'm often envious of anyone tiny enough to be able to layer piece upon piece without adding too much volume because it's so easy to go overboard! I have been layering using my (old) gap trench lately and while I can't say that it always creates the most flattering silhouette, it's allowing me to be a little more creative in my wardrobe and that's good enough for me!

It's finally happened. I am addicted to pinterest. It's a mild addiction so far but an addiction none the less. I blame the pinterest app on my phone because it has become far too convenient to pin whenever I have a spare second (or when I'm supposed to be sleeping). I have been trying to pin outfits that contain pieces that are very similar to ones I already own for inspiration but of course I am also finding inspiration for some fall shopping. Just when I thought I had this shopping thing under control...
