I started writing this post saying how much I've been loving this amazing Vancouver weather. Then I went on to say that I've been spending many of these gorgeous evenings sitting on patios with girlfriends enjoying some summer cocktails. Then I was worried that it was going to look like I was drinking too much so I went on to defend myself by saying that I usually only have one or two, I'm normally not much of a drinker and I would never drink and drive. Then I was concerned that I was getting too defensive and that was just confirming my guilt as a sangria and mojito addict so I decided not to talk about that.

What's your go-to cocktail to enjoy during this perfect patio weather? I am thinking about trying sangria and a mojito for the first time ever soon... (best cover up ever)

La Canadienne

 As a proud Canadian (I used to sing Oh Canada at Hockey games. No big deal ;)), I love discovering Canadian based companies. La Canadienne is based out of Montreal and their goal was "to create comfortable, versatile boots that would offer unbeatable protection against the cold, wet Canadian climate". Uhm yes please! It pains me to say this but Fall is quickly approaching so I thought I would pass along some images from their fall look book in case you're in the market this fall for a pair of boots that won't leak and leave you with wet socks all the time. Can you sense I'm a little bitter from last winter?

 

The "Uber-Cool" Motorcycle boot is my favourite for sure. Unfortunately they aren't in my budget right now but I'm keeping them on my radar as Fall approaches. La Canadienne shoes start at about $200 but I know my readers have budgets of all sizes. They also have a gorgeous line of handbags that I have been drooling over.

Now let's stop thinking about fall and get back to enjoying the 5 minutes of summer that Vancouver has to offer!
