The Establishment

If you're from Vancouver and you are looking for something to do on this rainy Friday, look no further. If you're not from Vancouver... well... start driving or book your plane ticket.

I recently had the opportunity to taste some of the delicious new menu items at the Establishment. I don't claim to be a "foodie", but I know what I like, and the menu that Chef Victor Bongo put together is amazing.

This wasn't apart of the tasting menu but before I left I just had to try the cheesecake... because well. I'm an addict.

I honestly can not wait to go back to the Establishment to try more items on the menu. It's located at 3162 W Broadway in Kitsilano so if you're walking past there you will probably see me sitting on the patio with cheesecake and Sangria. I'm so predictable.

Goal Setting

I am extremely behind on blog reading (bad blogger friend, bad) but today I spent my break getting caught up on a few. I was really inspired after reading one of Jen's posts about setting summer goals. I wish I could say that I'm the type of person to set goals and tackle them full force but I am actually the queen of procrastination and excuses so in reality my first goal should be to not use my list of goals as a coaster for my Sangria. That's assuming I don't just procrastinate setting my goals. Okay my first goal is to not procrastinate setting these goals. I'm going to be honest with all of you... It's already not looking very good.

Wedding Romance

I used to be such a romantic but time and experience have taught me to be more realistic. After attending a wedding this weekend that was so full of joy and love, I'm starting to think that maybe there really is something to be said about romance. There's also something to be said about a huge display of delicious mini cupcakes decorated with green and purple icing... just sayin'.
