you're invited: deck your closet

The second blogger clothing sale is here just in time for the holidays! You are invited to join Jen of Prairie Girl in the City, Alex of To Vogue or Bust, Jen of Her Waise Choice, Alicia of Alicia Fashionista, Carolina of Closet Full of Nothing, Monika of The Doctor's Closet and myself, for what is going to be the must-shop event of the season! It will be held in the elegant Seasons room at the Four Seasons between the hours of 10:30am and 4:30pm on December 9th so clear your calendars! This is an event you won't want to miss.

.We are mixing things up at this sale and instead of door prizes, we will be offering 50 VIP tickets, which means that if you purchase tickets for the 10:30-11:30 a.m. slot for $20, you will score a gift bag worth approximately $100 and you will get the first chance to shop our closets. If that time slot doesn't work for your schedule or you can't snap up the VIP tickets fast enough, don't you worry! There will be lots of fun things going on all day (that's all I'm allowed to say!) and us bloggers will make sure to replenish our stock throughout the day! Tickets for our other time slots will be priced at $10.
.
It's going to be such a lovely day. Aside from getting to chat with some of my favourite ladies in the city while shopping their amazing closets at discounted prices, there will be some fun other elements to the event, including the lovely Georgia of Social Experiment at a station hand creating her stunning, one-of-a-kind cocktail rings..
Tickets are on sale now so snap up your tickets before they're sold out! From what I understand, depending on demand, there might be some sold at the door but don't risk it! Pick some up now!

I hope to see all of you there!

A huge thanks to Jen P, Jen T, Alex, and Alicia for all of the hard work they put into getting this whole event organized!

Man Repeller at Secret Location

What do you wear when you meet Leandra Medine, the witty and creative lady behind the famous blog Man Repeller? I chose vintage. I considered putting together my best 'Man Repeller" look for the occasion but I realized that trying to recreate the looks she is known for when meeting her would be setting myself up for failure. There is no way my attempts would even compare to her genius. It would be like singing a Celine Dion song to Celine Dion if I met her. I'm not really sure why I'd ever meet Celine Dion but I do know that I wouldn't start belting out 'my heart will go on'. I'd start rapping, naturally.

Thanks to Secret Location for hosting such an amazing event.
