Creme de la Creme Preview & Giveaway

I recently joined some very fashionable Vancouverites to preview this year's Creme de la Creme Wedding showcase. The Four Seasons Hotel will be taken over on November 4th by the Showcase and the Prime Minister's Suite was the perfect backdrop to preview the stunning dresses and wedding inspirations.

Hosted by Countdown Events, this year's Le Reve Creme de la Creme Showcase is said to be "the most opulent event of the year" and after seeing how gorgeous the teaser event was, I have no doubt it will be.

Tickets for the November 4th event are $45 each and available online at http://cremedelacreme.ca but I have two extra tickets that I'd love to give to one of YOU.

The giveaway is open to anyone who is able to attend the event. All you have to do to enter is leave a comment on this post (make sure you leave your email address) telling me about your favourite wedding moment. Your wedding, a friends wedding, a wedding you crashed - I'm not picky!

For an extra entry - leave a second comment on my Facebook Page.

One reader will win both tickets and the giveaway will end at 5pm on Thursday October 25th so I can make sure to get you the tickets on time!

Good luck!

  3. My favourite moment of my entire wedding (which was just a month and a half ago) was my speech. As a marketer who is use to public speaking, and an emcee often, it was the hardest speech I've ever given. But to have the opportunity to say thank you to my beautiful family, friends and now husband was something gifts and money could not do.

  5. My most memorable wedding moment was when my son was the ring bearer at my twin sister's wedding. He was laying on the steps and entertaining the crowd. :)

  6. My favorite wedding moment is the speeches - at almost all the weddings I have been to! It's amazing to hear people share their feeling about the amazing couples being celebrated, I'm always certain to cry! In particular, a wedding we attended this September had the most heartwarming speeches, and I hoped to myself that people would say even half those wonderful things about true love at my wedding!

  7. Where I was seated at the last wedding I attended, was a spot where I could not really see the isle without lots of heads in my way. So as everyone else watched the bride come down the isle, I focused my attention on the groom and watched his reaction to seeing his bride for the first time. The glow that illuminated from his eyes and the pure awe he had while watching her walk towards him, was heartwarming. I hope my fiance looks at me like that when I walk down the isle next year.

  8. My favourite wedding moment in any wedding, time and time again, is when the bride walks into the ceremony or reception hall and looks beyond breathtaking. Plus the best part is seeing what outfit she will be wearing! =)

  9. My favorite moment during weddings is during the first dance when you can see the bride and groom lovingly whispering to each other, noses pressed together, big smiles on their faces. Such sweet romance & intimacy, I love it!

  10. my favourite wedding moment is from my best friend's wedding. i was her maid of honor, and had no idea what i was doing!! luckily her other bridesmaids her her cousins (all of which were already married), so they were great help. But the exact moment that i realized she wasn't going to be just my best friend any more, but a Mrs. was in the middle of my speech and i started tearing up and pretty much sobbing with happiness. It was pretty embarrassing, but nearly every guest at the wedding told me they cried too!!! She's been married 5 years now!

  11. My favourite wedding memory was at a friend's wedding when the groom, best man, and maid of honour began to sing the bride down the aisle. Everyone was in tears! It was so beautiful :)
