From Sea to Sky

Mike and I spent a relaxing weekend in Whistler. 95% of the pictures we took were on his camera. I won't have access to those pictures until Wednesday... oops! So here are a couple random pictures we took on my little point and shoot.

I wanted to share a little story about why I look so happy to be posing in front of a cow statue in one of the pictures above. Not only is Cows an amazingly adorable little place to get ice cream in Whistler, but as a child I collected cow "stuff" so any time my family went to Whistler I was always super excited to go to this little shop. I'm pretty sure I took a picture with this cow on every trip to the village.

I had a collection of cow figurines, stuffed animals, and random items like a cd rack in the shape of a cow. Looking back, I'm really not sure where my love of cows came from... I really have no attachment to real cows... and I'm kind of sensitive to dairy. Aaaaanyways.

I hadn't thought of my collection of cows until recently when Mike watched a cartoon where there was a cow named "Moolissa". The name has stuck. Damn you childhood collection of cow paraphernalia. Damn you.
