Eleanor, of Bonjour Bbydoll?

Not only is Eleanor one of the sweetest people I've ever come into contact with, but I also imagine her to have a huge closet full of perfectly feminine floral dresses. I love her sweet style and she's become one of my good blogger friends so for those of you who haven't had the chance to get to know her, now you can!

Ask Eleanor:

 1) Where does your style inspiration come from?

Most of my style inspiration comes from personal style blogs, I would say I follow close to 100 of them – there are so many girls all over the world with wonderful, inspirational style! I also love taking inspiration from people I see in real life – if I see a girl dressed amazingly at university or the mall I will not stop staring until I have memorized her outfit for future reference... stylish girls of New Zealand be warned, I will act creepily for outfit inspiration ;)

2) What's your favourite piece in your closet?

Do shoes count? Because my favourite thing in my closet is my pair of Jeffrey Campbell black suede Splendid Sandals! (Oh hi, big fat blogger cliché!) They are completely impractical and ridiculously expensive – but worth every penny! I couldn’t love them more. I keep them on display on my dresser because they are too pretty to put away.

3) How would you describe your style and the style of your blog?

Someone recently described my style as “relaxed and girly with a twist” and I think that’s pretty spot-on. I’m happiest when I’m wearing a floral dress, a cardigan, and lace up booties! I would describe my blog as a personal style blog, but I’m also partial to rambling about food, my boyfriend and things that I love that inspire me.

4) I realized in grade 9 that I have no hope in ever learning French. I'm that horrible at learning languages. Knowing that, will you still allow me to read Bonjour Bbydoll?

Considering I had to drop my French minor and consequently haven’t taken a French class in nearly six months, I think it would be hypocritical of me not to, no? I do require that you like croissants and can appreciate sexy French accents but under those guidelines, yes, I will still allow you to read Bonjour, Bbydoll ;)
