Shorts & Shoes: Urban Outfitters
Tights: RW&Co
Belt: Jacob
While i'm not participating in any formal wardrobe challenges this month, I have challenged myself to try to wear all of the abandoned clothes in my closet. So out came this plaid top which I have only worn once. Oops.
Now, have you ever put together an outfit and then decided that you reminded yourself of someone but couldn't put your finger on who exactly you reminded yourself of?
My only regret is that I didn't carry an axe around all day. Just a latte.
Lattes taste much better than axes. And also keep you warmer.
ReplyDeleteAnd lumberjacks can't pull off shorts and tights quite like you.
You're beautiful!
Don't you love those shoes? I have them and find them to be so comfy not to mention adorable with pretty much anything.
ReplyDeleteGood challenge! This is such a cute top, you should wear it more often!
ReplyDeleteyou do make a pretty cute lumberjack!
ReplyDeleteYour the cutest looking lumberjack I have ever seen...the only thing your missing is Babe the Blue Ox;)
ReplyDeleteOooh I applaud your accidental yet very fervent Canadian spirit!

I'm not getting a lumberjack vibe at all! You look great. Can't believe you've only worn that shirt once. It should come out to play more often.
ReplyDeleteLumberjacks don't wear maryjanes. They'd chop their toes off!
ReplyDeleteI think it looks great and not lumberjack-y at all. :)
I loove this shirt!!
ReplyDeleteI think you look like a cute little Canadian!!

I have the same top and love it to death! I actually get hounded by my family and friends for wearing it too much! It looks super cute on you, especially belted :)
ReplyDeleteHahaha you're hilarious. I see what elements you're talking about but you look a million times cuter than both combined :P I can't believe you've only worn that shirt once! I love it and think it would be so easy to throw on... nice and casual with a perfectly feminine touch. I'm also loving your "remixed" feature these days... great reference and helps show your creativity!
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a great week Melissa!

I love the math problem there at the end. But you look much cuter than either of those men.
ReplyDeleteYay for pulling out the less loved items of your closet. It's nice to get re-inspired with them.
The Auspicious Life
ugh you inspire me every day girl. is there any thing you can't do?! :)
ReplyDeleteI see the similarities but:
ReplyDeletea) Lattes = <3 (so much better than an axe!)
b) You're much cuter than both!
Love the outfit!
you can never go wrong with a warm, cozy flannel. even if you look like a lumberjack :)
ReplyDeletecan't wait to visit Vancouver again-- LOVE it there.
I love this outfit - that shirt is really cute, I'm glad you wore it again :) I've been trying to wear the more neglected items in my closet too, it makes me feel better about my awful shopping habits!

You look so cute! The plaid top is awesome. I'm sure you can make lots of use of it! Try tucking it into a pair of shorts, too. Your artwork at the bottom with the Canadian Mountie & Lumberjack= Awesomeness. You look the best though. :) Way more fashionable than the rest haha.

ReplyDeleteI think you should carry around an axe sometime whilst wearing plaid and see what happens... social experiments are always fun :)
ReplyDeleteLuckily you look cute, so you'll prolly get away with it...
