Darn It

 Coat: F21
Blouse: ModCloth
Jeans: Gap
Brooch (RIP): Banana Republic

You know that moment when your red coat falls off the coat rack and you hear a 'crack' and realize that something has happened to your favourite bird brooch that you forgot to take off your coat?

I just experienced one of those moments.

Right as I was uploading these photos.

This just confirms my theory that hanging up my clothes is dangerous behavior and it should never be done. They are much safer in a huge pile on my floor.

You hear that Michael? Hanging up my clothes only causes problems!

Now you'll have to excuse me... I have a bird brooch to mourn.

  1. Awww, sad! Such a cute brooch, too.

I love your blouse! I thought about getting the same one (from our fave, ModCloth!). Do you find it easy to style?

  2. aww, Melissa, bummer! I hate when that happens! For me, the second I put something in it's correct spot is the second I can't find it - just proof that stuff needs to be laying out everywhere so I can always see it!

  4. RIP broch!! I just love the red jacket though, you'll always have that. Hahaha, hanging up clothes can def be dangerous. Best left on the back of chairs or in your car trunk. Not that I would know.

  5. aww rip and sorry about that birdie.

I always leave piles of clothes on the floor but the danger in that is sometimes you forgot what's there and you go searching through your whole house for something!
