Lately I have been having the hardest time going to bed. Not falling asleep, but making myself get into bed. I have been failing at time management 101 when I get home from work so I get absolutely nothing accomplished. Then when bed time hits I suddenly start stressing about my huge to-do list and decide that it makes sense to start tackling it right then.
Since by that point I can hardly keep my eyes open I get even less accomplished then when I wasn't even trying to get anything done and then I end up falling asleep in a pile of laundry somewhere until I wake up in the middle of the night and crawl into bed.
I really need to start making better use of my time.
Do you know what is a great use of time? Playing tourist in your own city. And posing in front of the laughing statues at English Bay is as tourist-y as it gets

I really suck at going to bed at a reasonable hour too. :( One of my goals for my new job is to be a "start early, end early" sort of gal instead of a "sleep in, go to work groggy, be too braindead to accomplish much" girl.

I love those pants! The fit is perfect. And I have the opposite sleep problem - I can't stop myself from sleeping early even though I'd much rather stay up and get stuff done!

Hahaha, too cute! I've been the same since holiday time is over - how quickly I got used to staying up late and sleeping in, and now I still want to stay up late, but getting up in the early a.m. has not been fun! Love your scarf here, m'dear! So cute.

ReplyDeleteIsn't the peacock stuff so perfect for NYE? I thought for sure it was expensive. I was telling her how amazing it all looked and she's like "yah and it was all for less than 30"!! I'm like whaaaaa???? I thought my ears decieved me (or too much champagne). haha!!
