Excuses why I never have the time, the space, the money (etc) to stay organized.
Do I have the time to watch reruns of the Office? Yes.
Do I have the space to hold all of the clothes I throw all over the floor? Yes.
Do I have the money to buy clothes I never wear? Yes.
So obviously my excuses are completely invalid.
I have to repeat the following: No More Excuses.
That's why lately I have been spending all of my time putting those excuses to rest and organizing my life.
It is involving me wearing sweat pants instead of real clothes while I get work done. Which is why I might be lacking in outfit posts for a little while. I apologize in advance.
EDIT: I have been looking at some blogs today that have been talking about closet organization. This is just one part of my life organization project but obviously a huge one. If you are in the middle of closet organization make sure you check out this blog and this blog.
It really doesn`t help that in the next year I might be changing closets. Makes me want to wait to organize :p

I've been re-organizing my life as well and conquering the closet! I seem to go on cycles with this, but I'm determined to create a system that works this time around. Good luck with your ventures...and I love your necklace collection!

If you ever find you need to get rid of some stuff... you have some lovely followers, hint hint!
ReplyDeleteNo really, good luck re-organizing Melissa, I hope it re-inspires you!
Ugh, I know you just how you feel. I'd much rather be shopping/Office-watching than organizing. But I love the "No More Excuses" motto. I need to remind myself of that more often.
ReplyDeleteHoly necklace collection! Good luck with the re-organizing, Melissa. I can't wait to see the "after" photos...organized closets are like porn for fashion lovers who also harbour some OCD tendencies lol.
ReplyDeleteYou can do it Melissa! I find that a lot of time it just takes getting into the right frame of mind, and remember that a de-cluttered room (or closet) = a de-cluttered mind!

I am with you on all of these points. I always have an excuse, epecially when it comes to time.
ReplyDeleteIf there's anything that doesn't fit back into the closet, just let me know ;) Can't wait to see the newly organized space!!
ReplyDeleteI SO feel you on this! My closet is so disorganized, and my clothes are always on the floor, so I've been having one heck of a time even putting decent outfits together, which is starting to affect my blogging. Arg, NO MORE EXCUSES for me either!
ReplyDelete1) I feel like maybe a necklace wasn't a good choice for a christmas gift for you.
ReplyDelete2) If you need to give away anything else, you know where I live. :)
3) If you're serious about needing to organize your closet, you have a sister that takes joy in organizing things. This same sister has no life.
I see your point. But, let's be honest here. There is always time to watch The Office. Always.
