.They have been together for 13 years so there were some jokes in the speeches about how long it had taken for them to tie the knot, but I think that every couple has their own timeline and I love that this couple went at their own pace and didn't give in to the pressures around them.
.
Seriously though? Cutest couple ever. Ryan wore a suit in the middle of a hot summer day to purpose to Joyce! She joked that he was sweating bullets by the time he popped the question but isn't that adorable?
.
They have 13 years of memories together already and so many more to come. Oh how I love love.

The ceremony was at the stunning Hycroft house. With so many wedding guests filling the house up it was hard to appreciate the history of the house but I've read all about it and it's really kind of neat.
.
I have this minor obsession with 20's and 30's fashion so to find out that the Hycroft house was the centre of the social scene during that time was really exciting. You can read more about the house and it's history here.

The reception was held at Kirin. I have to admit this was the first time I've ever sat down to a 13 course meal and my goodness was it intimidating!
.
Thanks to my shellfish allergy I was actually only able to eat 3 of the 13 courses which was more than enough haha.
.
I didn't drink very much (mixing alcohol with water or soda when the bar doesn't have lemon or lime to add to the mix results in awful tasting drinks.. not worth it) or eat anything sugary which wasn't easy at a wedding.
.
I did however have my first "treat of the week" during our walk yesterday. I got an ice cream cone from the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and I have to admit I was a little disappointed. I have never had ice cream from there and I'm not sure I will again. There was nothing wrong with it, it just wasn't that great and it was kind of expensive. Oh well, you live and you learn! xo
