What I wore for the last 30 days..

During the 30 for 30 I took the rest of my clothes out of my closet and put them in boxes. I wanted to forget about all my other clothes so after the challenge they would seem new and exciting again.. hey, it was worth a shot!

Now that the challenge is over I have hung all of my clothes back up. Looking at my closet full of clothes I've realized that since it was so easy keeping track of 30 items and planning outfits in my head without even looking at them, that now I'm just feeling really overwhelmed!

Mostly I'm just excited to wear it all again. I've contemplated not allowing myself to buy anything new until I have worn every single pieces of clothes I already own at least once. I haven't decided yet though. Could be fun?Today was day 4 of no sugar. Day one was the worst so far but I've done okay the last three days. Probably because I've been so busy I haven't really had time to think let alone crave anything haha. I fell in love with Vanilla Rooibos tea last night and it's a perfectly sweet treat for after a meal (when I normally crave dessert). Unfortunately it's caffeine free so I've spent most of the day unconscious haha. I also found a sugar free, low fat ice cream which is pretty much frozen skim milk. Yeah it's as delicious as it sounds (bleh). BUT, a small amount served with lots berries is actually pretty nice so that's been perfect on these warm days.

Angeline of The New Professional so generously passed along the "One Lovely Blog Award" to me. Thanks so much Angeline!

I am supposed to say 7 things about myself and pass this along to 7 bloggers. Between this and those questions I keep having to answer I've been having to think way too much ;)
.
1. I moved around a bit as a kid and lived in Edmonton for 3 years and Victoria for 3 years. The rest of my life was spent in the suburbs of Vancouver.
.
2. My favourite movie is the original Secret Garden (not the crappy Disney version they made years later).
.
3. I collected Barbies for years. I kept them in their boxes and they are still in a closet in my old room at my Dad's.
.
4. I can stand on my head for a really long time. I tried standing on my head when I was really young and was able to do it easily. For some reason I'm still able to... I think I must have a really flat head!
.
5. One of my favourite board games growing up was "Guess Who". You were supposed to pick a random card with a persons picture on it and other players would try to guess which person you had on your card by asking questions about your person and using the process of elimination. Problem was I would always cheat so I would have my favourite person on the card I picked so everyone knew who I was. I didn't get why I never won.
.
6. The first theatre production I was ever in was in grade 7. I was the narrator in "Snow White" and since my character was named "Time" I wore a giant cardboard clock. Yeah, I rocked it.
.
7. When I was in grade 11 I was asked on a date one Friday night by a grade 12 boy I didn't like. I told him I couldn't go because I was watching TGIF. I think he got the hint.
.
I fully admit I am brutal at passing awards along because I can never pick just 7 people. So I wrote down all the names of everyone who has been so supportive and picked 7 at random. I'm happy with the results since all 7 really do have Lovely Blogs and I'd love to learn more about them.

Now I have some more chores to do before bed! Oh, did I mention that after tomorrow I have 10 days off of work? I've been so distracted by the 30 for 30 that I barely focused on my upcoming staycation! Crazy.
