Will Cook for Shoes

I know how to cook and bake but I am far too impatient to do it most of the time. Actually that's the excuse for not cooking. I usually don't bake because I have an out of control sweet tooth and I eat most of the baking before it's even out of the oven which has resulted in many tummy aches and burns.

I have decided I'd like to spend more time trying out some of the recipes from the gazillion recipe books I have so when my Dad asked me to send him a Christmas wish list I made sure to add "Apron" to the list. (When I do spend time in the kitchen it usually ends up in an item of clothes being ruined... please add that to the list of reasons why I don't cook or bake.)

Thanks to my old lady memory, by Christmas morning I had forgotten about asking for the Apron so I was pleasantly surprised when I opened up this gem.

And I thought my shopping problem was a secret.

  8. Adorable apron! My mom got me a really cute apron too for Christmas - it's almost makes me want to be more domestic so I can actually use it!

  10. That is perfect and thoughtful. Can you actually buy that, or did they have it custom made?
Good luck with your cooking adventures.

  12. Ooh cute aprons are the best. I bought one from Anthropologie while I was in NYC. Like you I can be a bit of a slacker on the cooking front, but wearing a cute apron while baking a homemade apple pie makes the process just a tad more thrilling somehow.
