so calming about a perfect fall day? I absolutely adore when the sun is shining but the air is crisp and cool. My favourite weather by far.
I really enjoy the colour and fit of this dress but there is one problem. It wrinkles like craaazy. I've noticed that a lot with Urban Outfitters dresses so now I crumple them up in a ball in the fitting room for a few minutes before trying them on. If they don't meet my wrinkle standards then the deal is off. And the shoes? I can't believe I had these wedges for almost a year before I wore them. They are the most comfortable heels I own! Add a vintage brooch, tights and a sweater, (I did have one on at one point.. it was chilly! brrr) and I was ready for our walk!

This week is going to be a busy one! I have some fun stuff going on that I can't tell you about yet, but I'm super excited about.
Now, I have decided to challenge myself in November. November will now be "NO"vember. As in.. No shopping. Yes, another shopping ban.
I would love to challenge all of you to participate in "NO"vember as well!
I will put some more thoughts together but I think over all it will be pretty straight forward. I just knew that if I didn't put on record that I'm doing a shopping ban that month, I'd probably wimp out.

**note: i'll mention this in a later post as well but it's in response to some of the comments! NOvember wouldn't involve Christmas presents. The no shopping would be on clothes and accessories that we tend to want to spend money on instead of presents ;)

I probably should do a shopping ban, especially now...but I really don't have a lot of warm clothes so I'm not sure I could pull it off. Maybe! We'll see!

Absolutely love that dress! The color is fabulous! And I would participate in "No"vember, but I usually start my Christmas shopping then. But I was already thinking I would do a shopping ban in January. Just like with the 30 for 30, I'm a little behind schedule.

ReplyDeleteOctober and November are going to be little-to-no shopping months for me. I shopped a lot in New York and I keep telling myself that there's nothing I need per se. But seeing things in stores just makes me want to buy them. So far I've been exceptionally good and only bought black tights (cuz they're a necessity) and new gloves (my old ones were getting threadbare and not keeping my hands warm at all last winter). Good luck with NO-vember! I'll be cheering you on while trying to maintain my own "little-to-no"-vember. :-)
What a beautiful dress! The brooch really adds that little extra something, too. I wish it were more fall-like around here (it's supposed to be 90 degrees tomorrow).
