I had never done anything like this before so it was a completely new experience. Even though I was extremely excited I was also very nervous but luckily Lauren and the staff at barefoot were very welcoming and made me feel at ease.
I was told I could pick any pieces from the store to style the window and that was not an easy task! I loved everything (for myself ;)) so it was hard narrowing it down to only four outfits.
Luckily I was able to put together four looks that I was in love with. It was impossible to take a picture of the outside window display (too much glare) so here some pictures of everything separately.
My theme was "Inspiration". I bought a $3 polaroid camera and took pictures of things that inspire me and made faux-polaroids. The pictures are of the people in my life, of places I've been, from magazines, and of my favourite blogs. The polaroids were spread out throughout the display and on the cake stand.
The sign was made by my super talented brother James. He an incredible artist and uses spray paint to create the most amazing pieces of art work. He is putting together a website and I can't wait until it's done so I can share it with you. He put this sign together in an hour using cardboard, masking tape and spray paint (I later added the faux-polaroid) and I love how it turned out!!
And finally, the lovely ladies who I spent the day with. Nicole (of Le Mode Du Jour) styled the other window and that made me extra nervous! If you've seen her blog you know she has amazing style and I knew she'd put together some amazing outfits.
The amazing and super generous Lauren of Barefoot Contessa!
I would post a picture of my assistant (my sister) but then she'd text me and yell at me. Soo i'll just say thanks again Jess ;)
So that's it! My Barefoot Contessa window display! I hope you like it!
