I attempted to do some shopping this weekend but didn't have a lot of luck.
Now that I'm a recovering shop-a-holic (thank you 30 for 30 challenge!) I've decided that the majority of my purchases this season will be pieces that i've researched a little bit and that have inspired me. And of course there will be the occasional spontaneous purchase just for fun!
The pieces I have been inspired by so far are a mix of masculine and feminine details and luxurious fabrics. While I was shopping I found things I liked but nothing really excited me so I didn't buy anything. That was pretty disappointing for someone as excited for fall fashion as I am!

I love the interesting details of each one of these items. The fabrics are gorgeous and the colours would be a lovely addition to my wardrobe. (okay, so most of them are neutrals, sue me ;))
Most of these are too pricey for my budget but they make for the perfect inspiration for my upcoming fall purchases.
Have any of you been inspired and then found a similar item in your price range this season?
All of these look like they could have been pulled off my inspiration board. That modcloth dress is actually on my wishlist as we speak. Great pick!

Yes, I was actually looking for a gray wool boyfriend blazer and found one at the thrift store for less than $5.00. It looks very similar to the one you have in your collage. I wanted a blazer I can wear when it starts getting chilly, and most of the cotton bf blazers out aren't warm enough.
