Remember a few posts back when I told you all about that vintage dress I found? The 1960's dress that fit like a glove but wasn't in my budget so I had to leave it behind? I was locked out of Mike's place the other night (my key is brutal and never works) so I went for a walk in the rain. I found myself back and true value vintage with the intention of trying that dress on again. Even though I wasn't going to buy it I was really disappointed when I realized it had been sold. It was just so darn pretty.
I walked back to Mikes, some how got the door open and changed into some comfy lounging clothes. That's when I saw my surprise. Mike had gone to the vintage store and bought me my beloved dress. I can't even describe how much it melted my heart.
I might wear it to the Gala on Saturday but I did have a dress all set up that I was also excited to wear so we'll see how I feel that day.
Dress: Zara. Tights & Shoes: Urban Outfitters. Ring: Vintage from Brooklyn. Bracelets: F21
Speaking of dresses... they seem to have been my outfit of choice lately. I have a soft spot for a lovely dress with tights and an even softer spot for this sweater dress from Zara. It's so simple and comfy and there are buttons all down the back which makes me love it more. I really enjoy the fact that fall is here when I get to wear outfits like this.
I know this outfit is boring simple but it's one of my favourites and I know I'll be wearing it a ton in the winter.
There is so much going on this week that I'm excited for! The Britney episode of Glee (eeeeeep!!), my first Jazz class and the Gala. I am SO excited for the Gala. I love dressing up! yay!!
