They're getting Maui-ied.

When I found out Jessica and Kelly's wedding next fall was taking place in Maui, I was mostly excited that at one point I'd be able to use this adorable Sex and the City pun. Okay so that's obviously not the main reason I was excited but come on... maui-ied? Amazing.

So what can you expect when you attend an engagement party of your friend who's mom just so happens to be an extremely talented wedding planner? An engagement party that could compete with most wedding receptions.

Champagne was flowing, appy's were circulating and the Hawaiian theme in Jessica's wedding colours resulted in the most elegant atmosphere.

Oh, and there were bubbles. Need I say more?

It was such a fun evening. I am really hoping I'll be able to afford a trip to Maui next fall, but if not I'll be making sure to attend all of Jessica's pre-wedding dinners and events to help her celebrate her big day.

Shorts: Urban Outfitters. Top: Zara. Shoes: Aldo. Earrings: F21.

Your outfit is adorable! I love the dressy shorts and the circled top. With the black pumps and pop of color in the earrings, you look fantastic!

  4. One of my favorite Sex and the City lines. "Did you just pun in the nude?" Oh Aiden... I would have married you.

Looks like a fun party. Love your top! Congrats to the happy couple.

My mom sort of told me to make a wishlist so she could get stuff for me :D so we'll see!
it is still hard to get into a shopping mentality though, after the challenge, etc.
