One of those days...

You know those days where you go for a walk and mid way through the walk you realize your phone and camera have been stolen from inside your purse while you're wearing it?

Yeah, I've had one of those days.

Sorry I'm not very chatty but I've tried really hard all day to stay in good spirits and now that I'm getting tired the reality of the money it'll take to replace what was stolen has set in and I'm sad.

Dress: reworked vintage. Cardigan: H&M. Shoes: Payless. Necklace: Aldo. Belt: Plum
Oh well, at least I found a little dead crab on the beach. That makes everything okay.

  1. This kind of thing happens to me yearly and I never learn. Here's hoping the replacement process doesn't take too long.

  3. oh, no! That's horrible. I blogged the other day that my boyfriend's car was broken in to and his GPS and iPod were stolen - last night a police department called him because they found his stuff - they figured out it was his because the "home" address on the GPS was still his address! Maybe your stuff will show up, you never know!

  6. Oh Melissa, I'm so sorry again that you had such a crummy day. Let me know if you want any help looking for a camera, or if I can do anything else to help!
The upside is that your re-worked vintage dress is adorable?

  7. That's so sad! I've never had that happen, but my husband's bike was stolen while locked up in our parking spot at our apartment. We felt so violated. Definitely one of the worst feelings in the world. Oh, I'm so sorry.

  8. That's awful! My Hobo Int. wallet Lauren style---I loved it so...) was lifted out of my bag as I was wearing it too. It was a two person team. One pretended to lose something and blocked the door leaving Target and the other reached into my bag. I didn't realize it until hours later when my credit cards started calling to ask if I tried to buy $5000 gift cards from Target.
Not fun. I hope thing start looking up soon.

  10. Oh my gosh...that little dead crab is so pitiful.

I'm so, so sorry that your camera and phone were stolen. Seriously, what kind of people do things like that?! That makes me so angry.

I really hope you're able to replace them quickly and as inexpensively as possible.

  12. Sorry to hear about your camera and phone. It is a really sucky feeling to have something stolen...especially when it's something difficult or expensive to replace.
