Since I don't really need anything I'm trying to be realistic, do my research and not jump into any purchases (this is so unlike me it's not even funny haha).
The top 3 things on my list are the more practical items.1) a pair of flat boots
2) an over sized handbag
3) a fall/winter coat
I have some specific boots and bags in mind but I haven't decided too much about the coat yet.
I really want to focus on quality this year. Normally I get so excited at the idea of the item that I buy the first one I kind of, sort of like and never end up wearing.
Unfortunately the money I've put aside for these fall/winter items was used to replace my stolen camera but I have lots of time until colder weather (I hope) and a birthday coming up so hopefully I'll be able to save up again.

So with you! I can recall shopping trips that waste hundreds of bucks on cheap little blouses that I don't even have anymore. So if I can just save up and buy a really gorgeous coat I'm spending just as much on quality!

I definitely have a mental fall shopping list started. Tall, flat boots are on my list this year too. I bought some last year that weren't quite what I wanted, so once again they're back on my list. Your list sounds like a good one. With a little research, you could end up with really classic items that will last you for years.

I am so guilty of that, too - last year I had it in my head that I wanted gray leather boots, and so I bought the first pair I saw & then wished I had waited! Making a list definitely helps! Love this outfit, the cardigan is so pretty with the black & white!

I'm with you in wanting some flat boots for fall. I live in Orlando, so I'm not sure I need a heavy coat, but definitely boots!
